Head down the mountain, along the village road and direct to the Schattberg X-press. This cable car is a mere 1.7 kilometres from the Thurnerhof. The Kohlmaisbahn is very close by too. A mere 1.9 kilometres away.

Head across the courtyard, turn and head towards to Zell am See, then hike via a forest path. You will come across three maple trees and a wood batten. And discover Erika’s favourite bench. You are on the right track and find yourself on the Sonnseit Promenade. This goes from Saalbach via the Thurnerhof to Jausern. If you continue on a little further, you leave the Promenade and will reach Vorderglemm, passing our organic ewes’ milk producer.

At the Thurnerhof the closest bus stop is 500 metres away. It is the ‘Bergerkreuz’ stop and is at the junction between the ‘Bergerkreuzweg’ and ‘Glemmtaler Landesstraße’. The Wanderbus which goes to Hinterglemm and Zell am See stops there.
