A superlative challenge has been created in Saalbach with the Bike Challenge. Part of the challenging route includes exploring the cool trails in the biggest bike region in Austria – Hinterglemm, Saalbach, Leogang and Fieberbrunn are on the agenda. Bike your limit – the challenge at a glance
The challenge - to explore the entire region in a day - gets motivated riders out on their bikes early in the morning. Thanks to the cool conditions in the area, the circuit can be started in all towns in the area and at all of the cable cars. Guests staying in the Thurnerhof are best to start off at the Kohlmaisbahn or at the Schattberg X-Press, which will take them less than ten minutes to get to on the bike.
We recommend taking a look to see if the weather is perfect for the challenge ahead and although there are lots of Alpine lodges in the region, bringing snacks and plenty of liquid with you!
Riders who have completed the challenge, can follow their route on skiline.cc - as long as they have registered in advance - get themselves a cool drinks bottle at the main cash points in the valley and be included in the popular seasonal prize draw. Waiting in the prize pot are:

The region around the Thurnerhof sparkles with an extensive and versatile selection of routes. 400 km bike paths and over 80 km of the finest trails are here waiting for all the family. To start with there are cool facilities, including the Learn-to-ride parks and the flowing family routes. Speedy downhill routes and challenging jumps are waiting for pros and those who adore action. The littlest bikers out there adore riding on the Pump Tracks and having a fantastic time together while taking in the finest mountain views!
