Once a week, the centre of Hinterglemm village is transformed into a traditional market square. At Hinterglemm Gasslfest locals and guests meet to enjoy leisurely strolls. There are a variety of stands with produce from the region, traditional artisan crafts, while and atmospheric music and dancing interludes provide Alpine style. It's quite easy to get to the hub of the action from the Thurnerhof.

In the summer months, Hinterglemm's Gasslfest is an established feature in the weekly programme of events. The centre of Hinterglemm, which is a 10 minute drive or a 20 minute bike ride from the Thurnerhof, is transformed into a traditional market square. Beekeepers have organic honey and other honey-based items for sale, there are bacon and cheese von der Alm, fresh pastries, bread and much more. Salves, herbal products, schnapps and knitwear are lovely gifts to bring home for family and friends.
Local dancing and music groups provide the perfect ambience. The wonderful traditional costumes are impressive, so too are the lively pieces - ensuring there is a never a dull moment the entire evening!
Stroll through the streets together, sample bits and pieces here and there, bring some hand-crafted items home with you – Hinterglemm’s Gasslfest will inspire all the family!
